A 6 AM production dashboard, delivered as email — no logins required.
Leadership wanted daily production visibility without logging into anything. Every morning at 6 AM Eastern, a fully automated HTML dashboard lands in their inboxes: open orders by status and dollar value, invoiced work by day, ship-via breakdowns, and a six-month revenue rollup — pulled live from ClickUp.

The brief
Leadership wanted the numbers at 6 AM. A login-and-filter routine wasn't going to happen.
The problem
Leadership needed at-a-glance daily production numbers — open orders, what's pressing now, what shipped, what got invoiced — but the data lived in ClickUp, and a morning login-and-filter routine wasn't going to happen.
The solution
Deliver the dashboard as an email — built nightly from the ClickUp API on tools they already pay for, reconciled to the exact order against their own board, and fast enough to stay fast as the data grows.
01 · The 6 AM email
A production dashboard that arrives with the coffee.
A Total Open hero card with order count and summed value, status buckets (In Queue, Waiting Materials, Pressing Now, On Hold), ship-via breakdowns, a current-month invoiced table grouped by close date — responsive, email-safe HTML, delivered via Outlook. No logins, no new software.
- Open · pressing · shipped · invoiced
- Email-safe, responsive HTML
- Delivered through Outlook

02 · The overnight run
Three steps, zero servers, reconciled to the order.
A daily schedule, custom JavaScript that calls the ClickUp API and builds the dashboard, delivery via Outlook. Totals reconciled against their own ClickUp dashboard down to the exact order — one discrepancy root-caused to live board movement, not logic. Runtime cut from ~14 s to ~4 by parallelizing API pagination and date-bounding the historical query.
